Gone But Never Forgotten...
Oreo, the one that started it all...Here doing what she loved the best, hunting grouse with Doug.
Our Weimaraner odyssey began with Oreo. We had been looking for a breed of dog that was short-haired, active and versatile, when we stumbled upon the Weimaraner. Oreo proved just how versatile Weims can be by introducing us to conformation, hunting, obedience, agility and tracking. Oreo is now gone but her legacy lives on in her puppies and soon her great grand puppies.

"Bart"

Gone but never forgotten....
Bart was a very handsome and noble dog. He was the ruler of the house/pack. Shadow was his buddy. He took a while to warm up to people but he was the dog that people most remembered from our pack. He enjoyed training in obedience and agility if he got his ball as a reward but hunting was his passion. Son of Oreo and littermate to Rowdy and Brighty. Bart was eight years old when he went to Rainbow Bridge.

"Rowdy"

Rowdy was one of the 3 dogs we kept from our first litter. Rowdy got his name at 3 weeks of age and was to be my "obedience" dog. Rowdy was trained through Utility but in the later years preferred to guard the house and go hunting. Rowdy went to Rainbow Bridge at 13 years of age.

"Brighty"

Brighty brought us many wonderful puppies and was an even tempered dog very easy to live with. She was happy just hanging around carrying her ball. Brighty completed her conformation championship, obedience Companion Dog title and agility Starters and Advanced titles. We retired her from competition at 11 years old. Brighty was happy to guard the house, retrieve her beloved ball and go hunting as often as possible. She went to Rainbow Ridge at 13 years of age.

"Five"

(Ch. Chezacut Jedi Knight x Ch. Bright N Lively, CD, ADC, AADC)
"Five" was loved by his family, enjoying many hours of obedience training with Jill. "Five" also had 2 rally legs towards his Novice title and was just about ready to try for certification in Tracking.
